So this was fun for a change: We walked away from the Mac (GASP!) and actually created this linocut and then hand pressed some prints for an upcoming music festival.
The Flat Rock Music Festival (coming in September) wanted a completely new identity designed for the event this year. We came up with a look that matches the event’s grassroots feel and band line up (everything from Americana to funk). The art will eventually be featured on postcards, newspaper ads, flyers and maybe even some tote bags.
We’ll also be working on producing this as a limited run screen printed signed and numbered edition on nice thick paper stock! Here’s a teaser image of how that may look…
