Wilco 2009 calendar features some Get a Clue Design Studio work.

Wilco recently used two of our poster designs for the months of May and November. Here’s May’s imagery, and we’ll post November’s design in…well, now I guess.

The calendar itself is designed by the very talented Lawrence Azerrad for LADdesign.net. The pages are designed so that you can switch out whatever imagery you like for the current month, pretty cool. A “flip book” style if you will.

So many months, so little time…

JUST IN: New music label logo design.

Sooner or later, everybody plays the popular game “paper, scissors rock”(or a combo thereof). Here’s our logo design for the newly formed music label “Paper Scissors Rock”. We don’t think this label will be playing any games however when it comes to music, management and encouraging artist’s creativity.

It’s been commented that the “rock hand” can also appear to be two band members acknowledging the crowd post encore. A friend of ours said “It looks like Peter Buck and Michael Stipe”.

We’ll leave that up to you good folks…

A company web site is coming soon, as is some label merchandising (we hope!). The logo is screaming to be on a t shirt and hat, etc.

New Wilco Sloss Furnace available for purchase!

Here’s the new Wilco screen printed poster we finished recently. It supports the show at The Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL.

We heard from the client that the posters at the venue sold out before Wilco even hit the stage! That made us happy.

Measures 18″ x 24″, four color screen print by Nick @ The Half and Half, great job as always. ONLY 20 AVAILABLE!
Get ‘em while they’re hot out of the furnace at Gigposters.com.

Here’s a couple of photo’s of the illustration and hand done lettering before it was scanned into the Mac.
