Wilco’s "A Night at the Opera" poster design

We just put the finishing touches on the latest poster design for Wilco, “A Night at the Opera”.

The design was done for the band’s Baltimore date, so there are several references to the venue and the city. Examples include signatures of Edgar Allen Poe and Babe Ruth, both originally from Baltimore. Lots of halftone dot-tery for you print nerds (we’re with ya!) as well as some yummy minty green overprints.

Rich at Lucky Bunny printed it for us, and as usual did an awesome job. See more of his work here: LuckyBunny

We will have some for sale soon…

Delicious olive oil anyone?

We just finished designing a new identity for a small olive oil company from Italy named “San Pietro” .
The design includes overprints of textured paper with subtle colors that invoke the very hands-on process the company takes in producing the delicious product.

They are hand making the less than 100 bottles of the extra virgin olive oil to see how it goes over initially.

“Bellissimo!”

STAND BAND design work

We just finished working on two new poster designs with the management for the band Stand. These lads are originally from Dublin, Ireland and make their home in NYC now. Very talented group of blokes, check them out here: http://www.standland.com/

“Imagine the writing of Neil Finn mixed with the wide-open spaces of Pink Floyd”- Irish Examiner

The two posters were designed with screen printing in mind, as of now, they are produced for digital print production. We’ll let you know when and if they are available as serigraphs.

See them both on Gigposters.com here.
